TOUR FOCUS: Powder touring (not lift-assisted)

ABILITY: Advanced - This is not a beginners/ intermediate tour. To join this tour, you must have experience riding deep powder snow, and be able to safely maneuver in trees. Off-piste snow sports insurance is mandatory to participate.

GROUP SIZE: Min 4 people - Max 8 people

Bring your touring setup, skins or snowshoes, because we're going hiking!

In this tour we focus on exploring Central Hokkaido's most magical backcountry destinations. The Daisetsuzan range has many locations that will blow your mind. We also focus on lower elevation hikes in quiet areas, where you can get multiple laps, even though you are touring. If the group is interested in some lift-assisted day action, we will also take you to: Asahidake ropeway, Kurodake, or even Furano & Kamui. However the primary focus for this tour is day touring, in more isolated areas, which involves hiking from the carpark area. ADVENTURE & DEEP POW AWAIT!

A beacon, shovel & probe are required each day, so if you don't have this gear, we will be provide it for you, included in the tour price. Our experienced, locally based guides, will choose the best location of the day, based on the conditions & wind. (Please read our google reviews!) We know where the best snow will be!
